163 Very Rare Ceromonial Wine Glass - Queen Victoria Jubilee 1887

This Glass was produced in 1887 (June) to celebrate and commemorate The Royal Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The quality of the etching on this piece is superb. The Glass is a very rare piece and examples are very difficult to find. The Glass is etched with Thistles, Shamrocks, Crown and the four emblems that were very special to Queen Victoria.

  • Ireland - Order of Saint Patrick - 'Quis Separabit' Who will separate us.
  • India - The Order of The Star - 'Heavens Light our Guide'
  • Scotland - Order of The Thistle - 'Nemo me Impune Lacessit'  No one provokes me with impunity.
  • England - Order of The Garter - 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' Shamed be whoever thinks ill of it.

The condition is excellent and the provenance on this Glass is also an excellent one. These are very collectable and command high prices when they rarely come up for auction.
