This is a beautiful Antique Royal Worcester Parian Ware Porcelain Mrs Hadley's Hand Vase. This rare antique 19th century Royal Worcester parian hand vase designed by James Hadley is in good condition. The hand was modelled on the hand of Hadley's wife so hence the name. Her hand is supporting a Grecian urn which is hand painted. The interior of the vase has a glazed finish. Marked with an impressed crown and wheel mark for Royal Worcester to the base and a an English diamond registration mark with an N at the top for 1864. This is believed to be an early example of this rare and hard to find vase and the hand painted urn is superbly done. This is a charming little posey vase and they are hard to locate so I was fortunate to find this rare one.
