This is a wonderful example of an Late Victorian Architects Drawing set in excellent condition. This one was made around 1890 by Jacksons of Leeds. The set is housed in a polished Oak box which has brass hinges and a brass lock (key supplied). The box is beautifully constructed with finger joints on all corners. The inside of the lid is lined with blue silk which has the makers name printed on it. The instruments are constructed from brass and hardened steel and are all part of the original set. All the original components are present and there are a number of additional items in the lower storage areas under the main tray. Its rare to find a set in its complete original condition with 2 levels.
