This is a delightful Painting by Alfred Dickman Bastin (1849-1913) English. This Oil on Board 'A Mischievous Kitten' is typical of Bastin's domestic genre and is in the original frame. Alfred Bastin was born in the St Pancras area of London, moved to Manchester in 1879 and relocated back South to Egham, Surrey in 1891. He exhibited at The Royal Academy and other prestigious galleries from 1871 to 1907. The Condition is good and the painting makes for a charming view in my gallery.
