Well Figured Mahogany Georgian Bachelors Flat Front Chest of compact proportions, last half of the Eighteenth Century, of English origin.The rectangular top finely crossbanded in rosewood with ebony stringing above a mahogany brushing slide with four long graduated drawers, complete with original polished brass handles, raised on shaped bracket feet. Condition: This piece is offered in very good professionally restored condition, nice surface patination, all oak lined drawers with locks and keys present. Brushing slide is smooth to use.
