A Very Fine Quality Still Life Watercolour and Oil Painting on card by well listed English Artist Walter Harold Austin depicting Summer Fruits of Apples and a branch bearing Blackberries.

Signed lower left W H Austin and dated 1921. Walter Harold Austin: Worked for Royal Worcester Porcelain during the beginning of the Twentieth Century. He was known for his fish and bird studies and had a fondness for still life especially delphiniums.

His brother Reginald Harry Austin (1890-1955) had equal talent and also worked as an artist for Royal Worcester.

Extra image shows an example of the artists work on a Worcester plate. Condition: Nice unfaded condition with colours still nice and fresh. Recently framed with a stylish gilt frame and double mount, this item is glazed.
