This Irish Hand Carved Bog Oak Box dates from Circa 1870 and has a deep rich dark Patina and is a Rare Item as not many Bog Oak Boxes were produced from this time. The box has embossed star images on all sides, the lid with a scalloped edge surrounding the Celtic Church images.
