This Janpanes Edo Lacquer Document Box dates from Circa 1865 and is an fine example of Lacquer from the Japanese Edo Period.The Box has an Exterior Design of Birds and a Rural Japanese scene. The interior of the Lid has a floral detail and the overall condition of the box is good bar a few wear marks.
