An Exquisite Example of an Antique Ormolu & Silver Plated Single Ink Desk Stand - Encrier, of circular form raised on its original three bun supports.
The main stand with an all round band of filigree type decoration within an ormolu frame, the deep diamond pattern cut crystal ink pot with a hinged lid with similar decoration. Last quarter of the Nineteenth century of French origin.
Condition: This entire piece has been professionally re-gold & silver plated.
